HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

The day is a cold one here in central Pa. but it couldn't be better even if it wasn't Mom's day.
Looking outside, everything is green, GREEN, and the spring
flowers are beginning their triumphant entrance into
the earth's air.

My annual favorite has to be Lily of the Valley....
there is no other scent that brings the mind to the
season of spring.

I have already begun to harvest the violas and pansies, to
press for future cards or pictures.
I love to squish them between the sheets of blotter paper,
and to wait and see how pretty they flatten.

Speaking of blossoms...
I will tell you the sweet story of the
Bleeding Heart blossom in my next post.

For now, enjoy my garden -
